STREET FUNK + LATINO + DANCE HALL

Tarifa Dance organizes its first dance courses this summer 2002. The courses are held 18.6-22.6.2002 and 24.6-28.6.2002.

Tarifa Dance courses are perfect for you who simply enjoy dancing. Our groups are small (maximum 10-12 participants/group) and in that way we can give very individual teaching. With these small groups we want to create the best possible atmosphere - intensive, impulsive and creative. In the classes we mix street funk, latino groove, and dance hall (Jamaican way to jam!). We dance and have fun!!! And what would be better place than Tarifa to enjoy the courses.

Our classes combine few different styles: street funk, latino groove (mixture of salsa, merengue, and jazz dance), and dance hall ("Jamaica's Hip-Hop").

We have two different levels: beginners and advanced. In the beginners' level we concentrate on street funk and latino groove where we mix hot salsa and jazz dancing. The class is perfect for you who love Latino rhythms, funky music and dancing in general. These classes do not require any former "knowledge" of dancing just love for rhythm, movements and good music.

The advanced courses mix more different styles. In the advanced courses we dance street funk, Latino groove and dance hall. The tempo is fast and there will be enough challenges even for you who has danced a lot before. These lessons can also include some acrobatic movements. We recommend this course for you who like to work hard when dancing and have already danced/ gone to dance lessons before. But the most important thing is to just love dancing.
