Who are we?
Tarifa dance is a newly based dance school. We are starting with organizing 4 courses this summer 2002 and we want YOU to be there. In the future we hope to be organizing more and more courses not only within street dance, latino groove and dance hall but also modern dance, flamenco etc. etc.
At the moment there are two persons behind Tarifa Dance: Sanna Saarinen and Annika Virtanen. Sanna is the organizator of the course and will be attending the dance courses as well as a choreographer. This summer Annika will teach the courses. We have both been dancing in one group in Helsinki, Finland. Yet, now Sanna is in London, mostly participating dance courses herself, while Annika continues dancing in Finland. Annika has taught in Sweden, Finland and Spain. In her classes you will have fun dancing street funk spiced with dance hall and latino. You are so welcome to contact us and ask more! We want to see YOU in Tarifa at our courses!
Why Tarifa? Sanna has spent the last almost ten summers and some winters in the beautiful and great little town Tarifa and Annika has visited her few times. They both thought that TARIFA is the perfect spot for organizing a dance course. And it really is. Here you can enjoy lying on the beach, good food, great atmosphere, sun, windsurfing... a very sporty town.
